Grand Buffet Of Leray Inc Reviews

After seeing the most recent review was over a year ago, I decided to stop in and see for myself. I arrived at 12:30pm and was seated immediately. Drink order was taken with a smile and I was off to the races. The food was hot and flavorful and one staff member was constantly walking around the hot tables to make sure everything was topped off. There was a good assortment of traditional dishes as well as an unused Mongolian BBQ and sushi table. Maybe it's only used at dinner? I dunno. The greeter/seater/waiter was also bussing tables and was right on it when an empty plate needed to be removed. I really enjoyed the experience. I didn't see any roaches or ants, and the floors were clean. I'll be back soon :-)

Depending on who you ask regarding the food and the service in Chinese buffets, the person might like it fine or completely hate it. Judging from the reviews that I have seen regarding Chinese buffets, there is definitely a half and half view point. I for one being on the like side of things as I really enjoy the food and I have to visit Chinese from time to time in order to satisfy my cravings. It's not fine dining, but I like it. While generally all Chinese buffets are the same with the food and service, I feel that Grand Buffet is one of the better options in the area that I live in thanks to its sheer size and selection of food that out do other buffets in the area by just a bit. While the main Chinese foods that you find in these buffets are the same, this place offers just a bit more in it variations of foods such as chicken, and sea food. While it's only marginally better then other buffets, it's still quite good if you like Chinese buffets. They do also serve some more common foods like french fries, onion rings, pizza and pigs in a blankets if you aren't really into the whole Chinese style of things, and they do occasionally have stuff like chicken nuggets and steak from time to time, all of them delicious and tasty. The people who work here while they aren't perfect do a reasonably good job at what they do which is pretty basic like serving drinks, taking payment and giving you your fortune cookie. Can't really complain here. So basically, if all of this sounds good and you like Chinese buffets, then if you haven't already checked this place out then I recommend you do, but if your expecting fine dining and top of the line quality across the board then I don't recommend this place or any Chinese buffet for that matter. But regardless, if you got a craving some Chinese food, this place certainly satisfies.
